Contributing to Awesome AI Tools

Thank you for your interest in contributing! We welcome suggestions that improve the quality of this list. Before submitting, please take a moment to review the guidelines below.

Guiding Principles

To maintain the quality and focus of this list, contributions should align with the following:

  1. High Quality & Established
Tools should be public, functional, and usable right now.
    We generally do not include:

    • waitlists or "coming soon" pages
    • placeholder demos or landing pages without a real product
  2. Real Value Over Hype
Tools should provide clear, practical value. Submissions that are overly generic, duplicated, or primarily promotional may be declined.

  3. Relevance
This list focuses on tools for development, creativity, productivity, and learning.

Maintainers reserve the right to make the final judgment on whether a submission fits the scope and quality of the project.

How to Add a Tool or Resource

  1. Ensure it's a good fit
Please only suggest tools that align with the principles above.

  2. Check for duplicates
Use Ctrl+F (or Cmd+F) to make sure the tool isn't already listed.

  3. Add to the correct section

  4. Follow the format

[Tool Name](Official URL) - A brief, one-line description.

  1. Create a Pull Request
Include a short explanation of what the tool does and why it should be added.

Submission Notes

  • Tools must be publicly accessible and usable at the time of submission
  • Submissions should be concise and factual (avoid marketing language)
  • If you have a connection to the tool (creator, contributor, etc.), please mention it in your PR

Submissions that are incomplete, duplicated, or primarily promotional may be closed.

Transparency (Optional)

If AI tools or automated agents were used to prepare the submission, you may mention it briefly. Clear and honest submissions help keep the list high quality.
