This is how the new pretty gradient renders in GitLab CI outputs:

Would be nice to have this not happen some way (preferally automatically), while still rendering usual color output.

Possible solution

Autodetect if the termincal could support the gradients/other full color output, degrade gracefully.

Well, yes, it's not a gradient at all. Thank you for sharing this. I will consider disabling it.
