Describe the bug
The Network widget's "Interface" field is stuck on a Wi-Fi network I disconnected from.
It's not showing the network I'm actually on right now.
I searched repo issues and found a few similar reports already (#2009, #2159, #2278, #2392), so let me explain why I think this one's worth a fresh look instead of just closing it as a duplicate.
In #2159 you mentioned that the SSID/interface value only updates when WiFi status changes, because of API limits macOS 15 introduced. But in my case the WiFi status has definitely changed, and it's stayed wrong the whole time since. I've been connected to my current network for at least 3 days straight, and the widget has shown the old network name continuously that whole time. I've shut down and restarted the Mac 3 separate times during those 3 days, and it never corrected itself. I'm also already running v3.0.11, which is past the #3408 fix for stale interface details on the "process-based" network option. I checked my Stats config (attached) and that option isn't even turned on for me, so this doesn't seem to be the case that fix already covers.

- Stats widget still shows an interface starting with
ACT-ai_1..., an old network I'm no longer on
- The "Status" (UP) and "IP" fields in the same panel do reflect the current connection. It's only "Interface" that's frozen
- This has been continuous for 3+ days, across 3 separate shutdown/restart cycles in that time, with no change
Steps to Reproduce
- Connect to Wi-Fi network A. Stats Network widget shows network A under Interface.
- Disconnect and connect to Wi-Fi network B.
- Network widget's Interface field still shows network A, and keeps showing it. In my case this has now persisted for 3+ days.
- Shut down and restart the Mac (I've done this 3 times over those 3 days). Interface field still shows network A every time.
Expected behavior
Interface should update to show the network I'm actually connected to, or at least catch up after a reboot.
Actual behavior
Interface just stays stuck on the old network indefinitely, even across reboots.

- Device: MacBook Pro 16-inch (Nov 2024), Apple M4 Pro, 24 GB
- macOS: Tahoe 26.6.1 (Mostly irrelevent : Updated from 26.5.2 after the issue was discovered)
- Application version: 3.0.11
