Deployment and ActionMailer issues

When we're trying to deploy to heroku we're getting a weird error that we don't know how to fix. We've asked around and other's can't help either. We're getting an error that is just saying "failed to compile ruby app".

Hey Dana, any luck on this? Was it the asset pipeline issue you were running into?

Anna. I dont even know anymore. We're still running into little issues. I
think it was an asset pipeline issue but now all our CSS isn't loading.
We're also stuck on the API. We're close though I think.

But we can't push URI to heroku. So its not pushing anything else to heroku
because it won't push any of our URI stuff.
