[BUG] download model failed - http 416 when accessing slightly different models from hf mirror (China)

Describe the bug

The exo download manager incorrectly calculates HTTP Range requests, attempting to download more bytes than the actual remote file size. This causes the server (Hugging Face) to return an HTTP 416 (Range Not Satisfiable) error, leading to a permanent download failure.

Environment

• macOS Version: 26.4.1
• EXO Version: 1.0.69
• Hardware:
  • Device 1: Mac mini M4, 16GB RAM
  • Device 2: Mac Mini M4, 16GB RAM
  • Additional devices:
• Interconnection:
  • Thunderbolt 4 cable between Device 1 and 2

One more thing: this error happened when I was downloading the model, and my network connection was interrupted several times and then resumed. It’s likely related to that — hope this extra info helps.
Also, after I deleted the model and re-downloaded it from hf-mirror (without interruptions), I could not reproduce the issue.
