Environment
Android app 1.0.5 (versionCode 14) from commit d03af65, tested on a physical Pixel 5 running Android 14.
Reproduction
- Open a channel topic in Android.
- Long-press a message and add a reaction.
- Confirm from another active client that the reaction was accepted.
- Keep observing the open Android topic.
- Leave and reopen the topic.
Actual result
The reaction is present immediately in the web client but does not appear in the open Android conversation. It appears only after the topic is reopened and messages are refetched.
Expected result
The reaction count and current-user state update immediately after a successful request or the corresponding realtime event.
Impact
Android presents stale reaction state and encourages duplicate taps.
