How can I get Hover Zoom+ 1.0.227 to work?

I've installed it using the Load unpacked, and selected the hoverzoom-1.0.227\hoverzoom-1.0.227 folder where the manifest.json file is located, but it's giving me errors. I've been using this amazing plugin for many years, and have always had the right click button on the mouse set to load the images full size (Lock image on screen) but that unfortunately stopped working in version 1.0.226. I have version 1.0.227 installed now and it doesn't work unfortunately.

I would try a couple things:

• Redownload, unzip, and install HZ+
• If first method still doesn't work, disable all other extensions too

You can see if it works on a different computer, if you have that available. You may have success with downloading the zip of the repository from github and "load unpacked" that folder after unzipping it. Again, not sure what is causing that, but just some more ideas

No worries!

1. Click the Code tab above
2. Find and click the green button labeled "Code" near the top of that page
3. Click "Download Zip" to download a copy of the code
4. Extract the contents of that somewhere
5. Select "Hoverzoom-master" when selecting a folder with "Load Unpacked"

Thanks. That 1 shows all the same errors as the hoverzoom-1.0.227.zip download, but it's allowing me to use the right click mouse button, but I gotta press it 2 or 3 times to make it go full size (Lock image on screen) Ever odd LoL

Odd indeed. Make sure the old version is disabled. Also in the HZ+ settings, make sure Right Click and not Right Click (Hold) is chosen for "Lock Image".

Thanks so much, this finally fixed the issue, 0 errors and makes the image go full size when right clicking just 1 time only! LoL I got no ideas why the other versions were getting errors.
