K5 Compatibility

Hello @fabianmichael,

Thank you for this popular plugin that users use frequently.

Kirby 5.0 will be released soon and we see that your plugin is not yet compatible with Kirby 5.0. What is the status of you and your plugin for Kirby 5.0 compatibility? Do you have any work on it? If there is anything we can do as the Kirby team, we would be happy to do it.

As far as I can tell, the plugin is running smooth with Kirby 5, adjustments like dark mode compatibility are basically done. There is one major problem left which I was not able to fix: when uploading a file by dragging it over the editor, the Kirbytag is inserted, then the editor resets to the state before the upload. But when the page is releoaded, the editor displays the correct value. My understanding of Vue2 is not deep enough to fix this, already tried different things. Any help on this would be very welcome, you can find the latest version in the develop-branch.

@fabianmichael I've looked the issue and I realized that this issue already valid for Kirby core 🙈 Here the issue: getkirby/kirby#7249

@afbora Thanks for you suggestion, I rewrote the plugin to work like your new solution and it seems to work fine. I’ll close this, as soon as v3 of the plugin is released.

Hey @fabianmichael, no pressure at all but I'm just curious how far the v3 is? Would it be okay to use the v3 branch already or are there some bigger things missing?

@dewey So far I’ve been happy with it in production. There’s a few minor issues like #200 and the permalinks are still not as they should be. I wanted to resolve these issues before the release, but you can already use it in production.

No ETA for this so far, sorry.
