Opening project in a new window on Shift+Click

When you shift+click a project in Open Recent (from VSCode itself, not this extension) it opens that project in a new window. When you shift click a project in the status bar from this extension, it opens it in the same window.
Would be really nice if this behavior is the same

I don't think there are APIs for implementing this.
