Is there any reason to not use Lexical as email template editor ?

I've been looking at open-source email template editors out there for a while. Some of them have nice features but quite hard to change look and feel.

After I have a look into Lexical, it has almost all basic features to implement a email template and also it's possible to export as HTML. Do you think it's a valid use case to use Lexical as email template editor ?

Theres no fundamental reason why you shouldn’t or couldn’t, but it’s not optimized for that specific purpose so you’d have to be willing to write some code of your own to tailor it to email. Mostly around the import and export of HTML (importDOM/exportDOM overrides)
