WAI conversion about the ase dataset

Script data_processing/wai_processing/scripts/conversion/ase.py mentions that " Note: We use an internal version of the ASE dataset (ASE-V2) and it's format/data might not necessarily align with the official public ASE-V1. Hence, unfortunately, it might not be possible to reproduce the WAI version of ASE."

There are differences in sensor configuration, scene configuration, camera calibration information, etc. between ASE-V1 and your internal version. I have the following three questions:

1. Why didn't you choose ASE-V1 when converting WAI?
2. If we only have ASE-V1, can we use AI Coding to rewrite your ase.py to achieve the goal of converting ASE-V1?
3. Have you considered making your ASE-V2 public?

Hi, thanks for the questions, the answers:

1. This was just a design choice for another project where we eneded up reusing the data for MapAnything.
2. I believe we don't have the bandwidth to support this request. We recommend trying but I'm unsure if it would work.
3. ASE-v2 is currently only an internal only dataset and is not related to our team. We are unsure if there are any open source plans.

It is regrettable that there are no open-source plans for ASE-v2. In that case, would it be convenient for you to provide your fully processed scene_meta.json file?
