Remove zoomer plugin from chart

Hi again,
I hope you will allow me one more quick question :D is there any proper way how to remove the plugins from the chart?
When I forcefully remove the Zoomer from the chart.plugins list i get this stacktrace:

It removes the zoomer though...but it messes the viewed axis ranges :/

now i found out that it is related to clearing data after removing the zoomer, if I do not call dataset.clear() then the error doesnt show up
