The first (and only) major release of the PlanktoScope OS for 2024, and the second major release in the "Sunray" release series. This release fixes various major problems with the PlanktoScope software which were identified in v2023.9.0 (especially the camera), switches the base OS from 32-bit to 64-bit (which nearly doubles the speed of the segmenter), and makes PlanktoScope-specific OS configuration files easier to upgrade in the future.
