Bug: False "Claude Code in tmux" warning shown in Vibe Notch UI on Ghostty terminal
Environment
- macOS: 26.5
- Terminal: Ghostty
- Vibe Notch version: v1.3.2
Describe the bug
Vibe Notch shows the message "Claude Code in tmux - Open to enable messaging" in its notch overlay UI, even though I am not using tmux. I'm running Claude Code directly in Ghostty.
Steps to reproduce
- Open Ghostty terminal
- Run Claude Code
- Vibe Notch notch UI shows "Claude Code in tmux - Open to enable messaging"
Verification
Confirmed tmux is not active:
Expected behavior
No tmux warning should appear in the Vibe Notch UI when tmux is not being used.
Possible cause
Vibe Notch may be incorrectly detecting Ghostty as a tmux environment.
