Dashboard polls gateway liveness via Unix `ps`, spawning a visible console window every 15s on Windows

Dashboard process 96260 repeatedly executes ps -p 95268 -o command= every 15 s. On Windows this resolves to Git Bash's ps.exe, which creates conhost.exe, producing a visible console flash.

I went looking for this call to fix it, and I don't think it originates in this repo — posting what I found in case it saves someone the same search.

There's no ps process-liveness invocation in hermes-desktop:

The only ps occurrences are docker ps in src/main/ssh-docker.ts and Invoke-Compose @("ps") in the PowerShell lab scripts — neither is a 15s liveness poll.

The desktop's own PID liveness path looks like it already avoids the console-flash problem:

• pidIsAlive() in src/main/utils.ts uses process.kill(pid, 0), which spawns nothing.
• getProcessImageNameWin() shells out to tasklist on Windows, but with windowsHide: true and a 30s result cache.

windowsHide: true is used consistently across the other execFileSync/spawn calls in src/main/ too.

Given the report describes the dashboard process polling with ps -p <pid> -o command=, this looks like it's coming from the hermes-agent gateway (the Python side) rather than the Electron app, so a fix there would need to land in that repo. Worth reassigning or cross-filing.

Happy to be wrong if the call is somewhere I didn't look — if anyone can point at the process that owns PID 96260 in the report, that'd confirm it either way.
