Always cold start

Hi all,
sorry if this question was asked before. I did search but I couldn't find anything directly related to my question.
I am running an OT network with multiple robots and safety PLCs under Faucet and anytime that I push some new configs (even simple ones such as loop protect: True on a single port) my entire network goes down due to safety disconnect and I have to manually run all the machines. Is there a way that I can submit warm reload so that existing flows remain in the switches? Thanks in advance.

Are you restarting faucet or reloading/sending a SIGHUP to notify faucet to check for a config file?

Warm start is only implemented for some configuration changes (e.g VLAN changes, ACL changes, etc) but not all types of configuration changes, so you are probably changing something we don't support warm reloading for.

If this is the case, then there isn't a way to change the behaviour apart from modifying the code to implement warm start for the particular configuration change you are trying to make.

@gizmoguy Thank you for your reply. Configs that I remember that I changed and caused a network outage were things like making ana access port a trunk port or enabling lldp_beacon on a port.
I think I know what I should do from here. Thanks for your response again.
