Slow response time #4
Description
Response time is around 100ms on my development server. Running the profiler reveals the bulk of this time is spent in blowfish/bcrypt for authentication, since we are checking the password every single time. Switching to cookie-based or digest authentication could alleviate the need for an expensive bcrypt call on each request.
