[BUG]: Clicking "new note" does not always open it #530

Describe the bug

Normally, when I create a new note (with any of the "+ New Note" buttons or directly under a category Folder > New Note, the note is directly opened ready to be edited.

But every so often, it doesnt open. As impatient as I am, I then normally click a second or third time, only to remember that every click created a new note in the background. I then have to F5 the page, delete the excess notes and pick the one I want to edit.

I cant really pinpoint when it works and when it fails, it seems a bit erratic to me.

I do have "Quick Create Notes" active, as in "Skip modal and create instantly" and "Uncategorized" in my settings.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. pick a bad day
  2. create a new note
  3. refresh the page
  4. open and edit it
