[QUESTION]: Sharing by link does not include images in note

If I make a note public and share it by link, it does not show the attached images. Is this intended? or somehow not easy to achieve? or a security feature?

generally, I would prefer, if the full note is shared including attachments.

Hey!
It IS a security feature but you can bypass it with these env variable:

SERVE_PUBLIC_IMAGES=yes
SERVE_PUBLIC_FILES=yes

The issue with a file based system is that you can't just selectively enable some images, in the moment you make one image public, all your images are potentially public, which is why these exist :)
