dynamic url for repos

can we change the url in repos to import the release and arch dynamically. for instance in the first line
the url is:
repo --name=rpmfusion-free --baseurl=http://download1.rpmfusion.org/free/fedora/releases/16/Everything/i386/os/
change to:
repo --name=rpmfusion-free --baseurl=http://download1.rpmfusion.org/free/fedora/releases/$releasever/Everything/$basearch/os/

Not a good idea. You may be running a different Fedora release than the one you want to test.
