Description
One of the outcomes of discussing how to move forward with Fedora IoT as a tested edition with the Fedora QE folks was an update to our docs about the reference platforms:
https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/iot/reference-platforms/
I would like us to revisit this section and determine if it is still accurate or applicable.
Notably, we include the following text:
These reference platforms have been tested and are known to work with Fedora IoT, however their inclusion on this list does not necessarily constitute a release-blocking issue should a bug that is specific to the hardware below be found.
The currently tested reference devices are as follows:
This could be construed that these platforms are being regularly tested as part of our usual activities.
I'm fairly certain that the folks from the team/community doing regular testing don't have access to all of the listed hardware (NVidia Jetson, I'm looking at you...)
One possibility is to just rephrase the content on the page to make it clear that not all of the platforms are tested regularly.
Alternatively, scope down the reference platforms to the ones that are getting tested regularly.
Open to other options and discussion.
