after a while the fn/globe key stops switching keyboard layouts on macOS 26(.2). the only way to fix is to reboot. happens daily.

a step-by-step set of instructions to reproduce the problem

1. enable several keyboard layouts
2. use macOS for an afternoon

what results you expected

i expect to always be able to switch keyboard layouts when pressing the fn/globe key, like it used to be before macOS 26.

what results you actually saw

after a few hours of usage the fn/globe key stops responding and the only way to get it back to work is to reboot macOS.
