V1 getCroppedCanvas() vs V2 $toCanvas()

When I want to get the cropped canvas in V2, it crops the picture in <cropper-selection></cropper-selection> but it also takes its width and height. This did not happen to me in V1. Was this changed?

This is the code. Not much has changed in this part except getCroppedCanvas() became $toCanvas().

                canvas.toBlob(blob => {

For example, the crop below should still be rather big but because the selection is only 300px / 200px, those are the dimensions of my crop.
