Error while initializing mcp server on Claude Desktop #34

Hi ! I'm trying to install iterm-mcp in order to let Claude desktop access my iTerm2 app.
I installed it using smithery: npx -y @smithery/cli install iterm-mcp --client claude
Everything seems to be ok.
When I open Claude I have multiple errors
Checking the server logs make me say that smithery is returning an un-expected response:
mcp-server-iterm-mcp.log
I think there is multiple "issues" here
- the code might not check response status before trying to decode it
- in case of decode errors, I encourage you to systematically print the raw response in order to be able to understand what's going on
