Cannot run iPython notebook

I am attempting to run this locally. I have installed all dependencies and was able to get make_data_class_{0,1}.py to run on my machine.

I am trying to get through the iPython notebook to train the network and keep receiving this error in cell #8:

`ValueError: Negative dimension size caused by subtracting 3 from 1`

What is causing this?
