I think it'd be nice to show what the time stamps of the images you're looking at our. Ideal is probably to do it in the actual dialog box, by win a and win b. Another place that would likely be nice is in the layer name. Right now it's _NIR_B_d40b16d1. I don't know what that last string of digits is, but it'd be nicer if it was the date of the layer - then you can see it in your layer list too.
