Adding a regenerate resources feature

I have quite a large database in development and spent a fair amount of time creating clusters with their resource files under the cluster directories. I've had to make quite a few amendments and additions to several tables and was thinking how great it would be to put in a single command to regenerate the resource files in-situ without having to delete them and generate them again.

I understand any manual formatting would be lost, but would something like this be possible?
