How to refresh dropdown values based on selection?

I've below code:

Forms\Components\Select::make('categories')
  ->label('Categories')
  ->translateLabel()
  ->relationship('categories', 'name')
  ->searchable()
  ->multiple()
  ->required()
  ->preload()
  ->live()

I want to refresh the options of this component when afterStateUpdated is triggered, but the code I implemented isn’t working as expected.

->afterStateUpdated(function ($state, Forms\Set $set) {
  $category = ProductCategory::find(array_first($state));
 $options = ProductCategory::where('type', $category->type)->pluck('name', 'id')->toArray();
 $set('categories', $options);
 }),

Goal: When the dropdown value changes, I want to get all categories based on the selected value type.

I think you shouldn't use relationship if you want to customize ->options(..)

@leandrocfe Thanks for the reply, I've removed the relationship but still I can't able to do it.

 ->options(fn () => ProductCategory::get()->pluck('name', 'id')->toArray())
 ->afterStateUpdated(function ($state, Forms\Set $set) {
 $category = ProductCategory::find(array_first($state));
 $options = ProductCategory::where('type', $category->type)->pluck('name', 'id')->toArray();
 $set('categories', $options);
 }                                    }),

But it returns error like: Attempt to read property "type" on null because when I set value it again call the afterStateUpdated method.
