reducing filament field-width not working (should be easy)

I have this field in a form, just for a Qty. number, and its way to wide. I have been trying to size it down to be just enough for a 100 number, but it remains at its size, doesn't reduce a bit.

It ends up looking like this! Does anybody have the same problem, any tips? Thanks!!!
