Drand node in China

Hello, this is probably not appropriate in Lotus, but as consumer of drand services I vaguely remember there was talk of deployment of a drand node in China to increase service stability. Could someone point me to the right discussion? Thank you!

Hi @Fatman13 ! There is indeed a drand node in China now, StorSwift, who recently joined the League of Entropy - see this blogpost for more details. They do not operate an HTTP relay though, at this point. We do have more partners joining from China too in the near future. What is the usage of drand that you're doing / are interested in?

The best way to get in touch with the team is through drand's GH repository (e.g., open an issue): https://github.com/drand/drand, or over email [email protected]. Or let me know what you'd be looking for and I'll figure it out and get back to you.

Since ~October 2022, we have a partner in the League of Entropy running a drand node and a drand relay from China: Storswift.

You can access their relay at the URL: https://api.drand.secureweb3.com:6875/
For example https://api.drand.secureweb3.com:6875/info return correctly the mainnet information
