@modeswitch @humphd, can I possibly get a bit more context on this one? What exactly needs to be updated in this script and where would you like it to be placed back in the "tree"?

@yoavgurevich The quick perf test I wrote a while ago is linked above. It probably needs to be rewritten though. tests/perf would be a good place to put this work. Moving files is cheap.

Note that the perf tests should run both in Node and the browser, and allow for the runner to specify different storage providers so we can compare performance among them.
