Well that makes sense. Looking me right in the face and I'm trying to make it complicated. Another more pressing issue is Cannot import K:\ComfyUI_windows_portable\ComfyUI\custom_nodes\comfyui-finegrain module for custom nodes: [Errno 2] No such file or directory: 'K:\ComfyUI_windows_portable\ComfyUI\custom_nodes\comfyui-finegrain\init.py'. The file is there -buried but there.

Ah right, I forgot (yet again) that the python provided in the windows portable version of ComfyUI doesn't have hatchling installed by default. I added it to the requirements.txt of the project.

To install the requirements in your windows portable install of ComfyUI you may do:

.\python_embeded\Scripts\pip.exe install hatchling
.\python_embeded\Scripts\pip.exe install -r .\ComfyUI\custom_nodes\comfyui-finegrain\requirements.txt

Though you should also be able to install the nodes automatically via ComfyUI Manager:
