Struggling to find a working finkmirror

Hi, I've been trying to install fink from scratch (bootstrap method) since this morning but everytime there's a problem with some mirrors. I managed to reach to the stage where fink got installed. Now I'm trying to install some progz and libraire and I'm getting timedout at each statge

the only mirrors working are the ones without finkmirrors.net in their url

my configuration :
mac os ventura 13.7.5
m1 max, 64gb of ram

sadly we have no mirrors, only the master. We are a small team and else is offering to run one, so it's not ideal.

the master seems to be missing some dist files. i had to sit while it installed and keep switching between the asi-JP mirror, the default one , and whichever other ones it found to get something that worked. also a few of the listed mirrors i think are totally dead. (OS X 10.6 x86_64)

I got help from the fink irc channel on freenode and they told me to modify the mirror order in /sw/etc/fink.conf

thank you! i tried this but it seems like something might be wrong with some of the distfiles? i get a bunch of checksum errors even after it requests to the distfiles.master.finkmirrors.net url. it only seems to happen with some packages. i also had to bypass a checksum error earlier which im guessing was caused by some version difference. (ive run the rsync self-update which ALSO didnt work properly until i changed the mirror to the asi-JP one.)

Can't help you with that, i'm sorry :(

If a downloaded file from the master mirror has a mismatched checksum, ask to try another non-master mirror during the download process. Assuming the source is still available, that should get you something.

If you still can't find it, post on the fink-users mailing list with the problematic package so it can be dealt with as possible.
