Group overview
Discussion group focused on FDC3 use in Web browsers and the Bridging of FDC3 Desktop Agents to allow interop to span across them (based on simialr techniques to FDC3 comms in a Web browser).
Software support for both FDC3 in a Web Browser and Desktop Agent Bridging are provided in the FDC3 2.2 NPM module: https://www.npmjs.com/package/@finos/fdc3/v/2.2.0

A Discussion Group has no direct decision-making power regarding the FDC3 standard - rather it is intended that anything they propose or work on will result in proposals (via Github issues and PRs) for the Standards Working Group participants to consider and vote on for inclusion in the standard.

Review Action Items from Previous Meeting
- @julianna-ciq was to raise an issue regarding the exclusion of Intent Resolution, Channel, and PrivateChannel from recent work (fix: better support 1.2 DAs by not requiring appMetadata in getInfo responses #1550).
- A note on supporting destructuring in JavaScript binding for the Desktop Agent should be added.
- @Roaders votes for stricter requirements (MUST).
- @robmoffat to review issue Support changes to the set of User Channels in the Desktop Agent API #1543, focused on renaming channels.

Issue: Missing Source Maps in npm Packages (Missing source maps in npm packages #1589)
- Identified build issue with sourcemap files by @Roaders.

Issue: Support the Ability to Specify Where I Would Like a New App to Open (Support the ability to specify where I would like a new app to open #1546)
- Discussion on enhancing open parameters to specify app placement.
- Proposal includes using InteropOptions with "metadata" or "placement" to guide app opening locations.
