 Figure~\ref{NIST_NRC_Transient_Combustibles_cribs} compares measured and predicted heat release rates for a single wood crib and arrays of multiple cribs. The simulations are all performed using Lagrangian particles as surrogates for the 56~cm long, 3.8~cm square pine sticks. The grid resolution in all cases is 8~cm, with additional simulations performed with 4~cm and 2~cm resolution for the single crib.
