Describe the bug
When using Mini Diarium on a Linux device with the spell check preference enabled Mini Diarium does not indicate when a word is misspelled.
Steps to reproduce
- Open the app
- Navigate to File>Preferences>Writing>Enable Spell Check
- Click on the square.
- Purposefully misspell a word in your journal entry. An underline does not appear to indicate a misspelled word.
Expected behavior
An underline or some notion should appear to indicate a misspelled word.
Actual behavior
There is no indication of a misspelled word.
Debug Dump (optional — skip if the app cannot be opened)
Open the app → Help → Generate Debug Dump, then attach the resulting JSON file to this issue.
The file contains only diagnostic metadata (app version, entry counts, schema version) — no diary content.
Environment
- OS: Debian 13
- Mini Diarium version: 0.6.2
- Installation method: flatpak
