Double pathname when opening saved screenshot from notification.

When I saved a screenshot with Flameshot 0.8.5 on Kubuntu 20.04 and click on the plasmashell notification to open the file I get an error saying Gwenview cannot open the file /home/hans/pictures/screenshots/pictures/screenshots. It repeats the relative location at the end of the configured path. Not sure if this is an error of Flameshot or KDE.

I'm on KDE Manjaro and cannot reproduce this. Would you please post here your Flameshot config file:

Can you change your config file and put full path for the savePath and restart Flameshot and see if the issue persists.

I changed the path and I even did a reboot but this didn't solve the issue. Weird is that the notification shows a correct path but Gwenview tries to open the "double path". By the way, I installed flameshot using the deb package.

After trying some scenarios I realized few things:

1. triggering Flameshot by flameshot gui and clicking on the tray icon result in two different behavior when the save to file button is pressed.
   1.1. The clicking on the tray icon results in Flameshot opening the "save file" window and ask for user's input and what ever the user chooses, the savePath in the flameshot.ini gets updated !!
   1.2. The flameshot gui without showing the "save file" window, automatically saves in the folder specified for saveAfterCopyPath in the flameshot.ini file.

2. when the flameshot gui is triggered and the image is save to the file that is specified in saveAfterCopyPath, the savePath gets updated to a defult value savePath=Pictures regardless of what the value of saveAfterCopyPath and savePath are.

I think there are two distinctive bugs, and the bug you reported is the result of flameshot gui path.

@borgmanJeremy I think this needs your attention as the behavior of Flameshot might seem non-deterministic, and also there is the bug that @hcombee reported.

I can confirm 1.1, when I click the icon and tell flameshot where to save the screenshot and click on the notification Gwenview opens the screenshot as expected. But when I press printscreen, click the save icon and the notification it throws this error.

Solved it! I changed the keyboard shortcut arguments for the "printscreen" key to include the full path to my screenshots folder.
So I changed 'Pictures/Screenshots' 0 0 to '/home/hans/Pictures/Screenshots' and now it works as expected.
It almost looks like the arguments from the imported shortcuts file are added to the "savePath" variable in the ini file.
