Description

Whenever a screenshot is taken, a black bar can be seen when pasted.

Steps to reproduce

1. Run Flameshot
2. Click on the taskbar icon to take partial screenshot
3. Take a screenshot
4. Paste it into something that supports image pasting
5. A thin black bar appears in all screenshot

Sure! Here is a screenshot of Notepad in desktop. Notice there is an omnipresent black bar in every screenshot (a bright background will highlight the issue more)

If you paste it somewhere with a white background, the black bar will show up. Only happens with Flameshot screenshots and not other tools. :( please test once, I do a lot of white board stuff, and Flameshot just keep giving black bars and the result looks bad on a serious discussion.

@imahbub since I have a hard time seeing the black line in the screenshots, I would be very thankful if you draw an arrow to show me the black line in at least one of those softwares (e.g the Notepad or Inkscape). I don't have a Windows computer sp I cannot test it myself.

@mmahmoudian really can't see it with github dark theme but it's there. loaded it into gimp, the line is exactly 1 pixel in height.

Im going to close this because its not something we can fix in flameshot itself. The artifact must be coming from Qt.

Flameshot v12.1.0 still has this problem on Windows 10.
Imo Flameshot has the most inline editing options without opening up a new screen, but the black bar has been frustrating when I'm trying to take screenshots for documentation purposes.

This seems to be an issue of Firefox. I don't see the black line when I save the image to a file or paste it in Microsoft Word or Edge:
