Flatpak crash at start (failed to load modules)

Good day,

i use Waterfox as my default Browser for a while now and i also installed it as Flatpak on my Ubuntu 24.04 Workstation.

since today i cant open it anymore. it complains that some modules are failing to load:

flatpak run net.waterfox.waterfox

i tried to re-install this modules but this does not work for me :(

Update: it somehow starts now, but it take ages to run:

Hey @D1Ck3n, I'm on Bluefin Stable (Fedora Silverblue 41) and can't reproduce. I use GNOME Wayland, FWIW.

A cursory search reveals other Debian/Ubuntu users facing the same issue (with or without using a Flatpak application):

My first impression is that you're missing system dependencies which Flatpak relies on.
