Guests vs. Members: Enable Fancybox in Discussion List Excerpts

I just noticed this behavior.
When you enable: Enable Fancybox in Discussion List Excerpts, the guests do not see the images at all on the homepage. It's not only when they login, that they can see it.

I did not see a permissions setting for this.

This is somewhat expected, if the post is sticky, it won’t display the image. I think it’s better UX that way, having a sticky post with an image would take up too much permanent space, don’t you think? This feature is relatively experimental and meant for a custom theme, so the feedback is valuable.

I understand. I think it is fine then. Is this a custom theme that will be available for everyone or a specific customer?
