In #1487 you said it doesn't work and there are several screenshots where no app has themed icon. Are you sure you had themed icons enabled when you tried? (Settings > Wallpaper & style > Home screen > Themed icons) (Trebuchet launcher > Home settings > Use themed icons in drawer) - LineageOS

I did indeed not enable themed icons, thank you!
