Revisit 2 second sleep in post simulation phase

I had to put this delay previously because the eventlog wasn't done being updated sometimes when we finished and we had to wait a few seconds for it to finish updating. I don't know if its still necessary and if there is a deterministic way that I can do this. I would like to do it in a better way
