Describe the bug
The flare system does not engage properly during autoland, causing the aircraft to land too hard. It seems that the aircraft does not initiate the flare maneuver at the correct altitude, leading to excessive vertical speed upon touchdown.
Expected behavior
The aircraft should gradually reduce vertical speed and pitch up slightly at 30-20 feet AGL to ensure a smooth touchdown.
Steps to reproduce
- Set up an ILS CAT III approach with autoland enabled.
- Observe the aircraft behavior at around 30-20 feet AGL.
- Notice that the flare does not activate properly, resulting in a hard landing.
