it's not very safe, but this is not a windows forum so I will not comment it. It's everyone's decision.
Yes, that is true. Primary development is on Linux. Other platforms are more about whether it is possible to use it. However, there are/was only a few issues that are platform-dependent.
It is always possible to improve things, and I also have many items on my TODO list. However, what I would really welcome are people who are willing to actively work on these project. I will be honest: many people keep writing about issues and what have to be implemented, but only a very very very small number are willing to really contribute. Keep in mind that contributing does not only mean producing code; a well-prepared problem analysis is also very valuable. Issues that are not very good reported still take time to understand and identify the underlying problem, which leaves less free time for other tasks. Unfortunately, my free time has been reduced to a minimum, so I mostly have time only to read reports and resolve some issues. There is very little time left for refactoring and new development.
QLog IS TESTED on Windows. However, it is true that it is not within my capacity to perform full regression testing on all rig interfaces, all supported platforms (Fedora 42, Fedora 43, Ubuntu 22.04, 24.04, 24.10, 25.04, 25.10, Flatpak, Windows, MacOS), all possible settings and setting combinations. You will certainly encounter the OmniRig interface, which was buggy in the last version due to issues in Qt that have persisted on Windows for a long time. Nevertheless, this interface will be reworked in the next version, and I hope the problems will not recur. I do not currently plan to provide beta versions as a separate release. We may get there over time, but I do not think it would prove particularly effective. What I am doing is that, before each release, I am creating a |

Guys, I believe most of you use Linux as your main OS. I use Windows 10, with updates locked (I don't trust updates).
I believe Qlog was developed for Linux and adapted for Windows.
It's one of the most elaborate logs I've ever used, simple and with everything we need on the screen.
There are still things to improve, and if you don't mind, I'll open tickets about bugs or improvements in the Windows version, in order to improve it even more.
If you have a beta version, I can test it before it's released.
