Is there a helper method to return how many plugins you've installed?

With Packer, I used to do #vim.tbl_keys(packer_plugins)

Hey newbie here in vim and lua,

just to clarify, I see that there's a function defined as plugins, does it return list of all the plugins installed?? and can it be used as

local plugins = require("lazy").plugins

To get the plugin names, you can use:

local plugins = vim.tbl_map(function(plugin)
  return plugin.name
end, require("lazy").plugins())
