[Feature Request] Presentation mode looking like Quarto RevealJS #3226

Hi @dmetivie, thanks for your feedback! Changing the HTML width is not officially supported, partly because it causes the issues that you are facing... So my reaction is: try to not change the HTML width. Or maybe change it to a larger maximum (the smallest screen that you will use), so you get something a little bit wider that still looks consistent. |

I have been using Pluto presentation mode.
However, being used to traditional slideshow I would prefer clearly separated slides when entering presentation mode (of course people could choose the presentation mode they prefer).
I find the Quarto presentation with reveal js nice.
I wonder if using the HTML, java, and so on capabilities of Pluto, one could make the presentation mode looking like that?
One concrete issue related to the current presentation mode is that on my laptop screen vs connecting to a larger screen makes the "slides" showing different (especially when I play with the html width).
This lead to me developping with my large screen and then presenting with my laptop screen, so stuff do not get shown as expected.
Having "bounded slides" quarto/beamer like would solve that issue (?).

I find Quarto presentations with Reveal.js quite nice.
I wonder whether, using Pluto’s capabilities with HTML, JavaScript, and so on with some ideas from Quarto parsing, one could recreate a presentation mode that looks similar?
One concrete issue with the current presentation mode is that the layout looks different on my laptop screen compared to a larger external display—especially when I tweak the HTML width.
This has led me to develop on a large screen, only to find that the presentation doesn't display correctly when switching to my laptop.
Having "bounded slides" like in Quarto or Beamer would likely solve this issue.
