Is there a preferred format for presentations in this repo?

Secondary question, is this repo intended to be a way for people to collaborate on their presentations? As this may inform part of the answer to the previous question.

Good question. I was planning to start a Beamer presentation and to open a PR for collaboration. But I am open to any other ideas.

Regarding the format, it should be whatever you prefer and are most comfortable with, as you're the one preparing it. I'm using reveal.js.

Regarding collaboration, I think this is also up to you. I'm working on my slides in my fork of this repo, but won't be pushing it here before the talk. Instead, I'll be soliciting feedback from co-authors directly. I prefer this as it reduces friction for me. I'll push the final slides here at show time.
