The page https://fortran-lang.org/learn/quickstart/hello_world/ should be updated.
$ gfortran --version
prints the GCC version:
$ gfortran --version
GNU Fortran (GCC) 15.2.1 20251112
Copyright (C) 2025 Free Software Foundation, Inc.
This is free software; see the source for copying conditions. There is NO
warranty; not even for MERCHANTABILITY or FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
The classical Hello, World looks like this on page:
$> ./hello
Hello, World!
In reality, it produces this output:
$> ./hello
Hello, World!
Notice the extra space :) It shocks every beginner and the page shouldn't lie about it.
