Description

The Build Status badge in README.md points to travis-ci.org
which is now defunct and renders as a broken image.

Expected Behavior

A working badge reflecting the current GitHub Actions
build status.

Proposed Fix

Replace the travis-ci.org badge URL with the correct
GitHub Actions pages-build-deployment badge.
