Thank you for your interest in contributing to Mayo.
Mayo is developed, maintained, and owned by Fougue SAS (hereafter "Fougue").
The purpose of this Contributor License Agreement ("CLA") is to ensure that Fougue can continue to develop, maintain, distribute, relicense, and commercialize Mayo without legal uncertainty.
This CLA applies automatically to every contribution that is accepted into the Mayo project.
By submitting a Pull Request, patch, or any other contribution for inclusion in the Mayo repository, you acknowledge that you have read this agreement.
If your contribution is accepted and merged into the Mayo repository, this CLA automatically becomes effective for that contribution. No signature, separate agreement, or other explicit acceptance is required.
For the purposes of this agreement, a Contribution means any source code, documentation, test, example, translation, artwork, build script, configuration, or any other material submitted for inclusion in the Mayo project.
By submitting a Contribution, you represent and warrant that:
-
You are the original author of the Contribution, or you have sufficient legal rights to submit it under the terms of this agreement.
-
To the best of your knowledge, the Contribution does not infringe any copyright, patent, trademark, trade secret, or other intellectual property right of any third party.
-
You irrevocably assign to Fougue all worldwide copyright and all other transferable intellectual property rights in the Contribution, for the entire duration of such rights, including any renewals or extensions permitted by applicable law.
-
If any applicable law prevents the complete assignment of any right, you grant Fougue an irrevocable, perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable, and exclusive license to exercise that right to the fullest extent permitted by law.
-
Fougue may, without limitation:
- modify the Contribution;
- combine it with other works;
- publish, reproduce, distribute, and publicly display the Contribution;
- distribute it in source or binary form;
- sublicense or relicense it under any license;
- incorporate it into open-source or proprietary software;
- commercialize it through paid binaries, commercial licenses, subscriptions, support contracts, or any other commercial offering.
-
Fougue is under no obligation to use, merge, maintain, or attribute any Contribution and may accept, reject, modify, or remove any Contribution at its sole discretion.
-
Contributions are provided voluntarily and without expectation of compensation, royalties, ownership, or any other financial consideration.
Unless explicitly requested by Fougue, contributors must not modify or remove existing copyright notices contained in the project.
If you have any questions regarding this Contributor License Agreement, please contact Fougue before submitting your Contribution.
